详细介绍：
六十年代初，文师傅为了给孩子们打鱼而失足掉进了海里淹死，剩下淑珍一个人和两个孩子，大林和大秀。善良的杨师傅出于同情，无私地帮助淑珍一家，两个人逐渐产生了爱情，并最终结合到一起。婚后，两人相敬如宾，又生下女儿小秀。大秀突然得了严重肺炎，为了给她找治病的偏方，杨师傅带着大林进山打猎，因为枪走火而意外受伤，并最终由于破伤风不幸丧生。淑珍此时已经怀孕，不久，她生下了“遗腹子”小林。
